Description:

The barrel is marked "TURNER , LULL & CO. / WOODSTOCK V.T." The bar type adjustable peep sight has been modified to adjust with a turn screw and there is a globe and pin front sight and a filled dovetail for another rear sight. The bottom of the barrel is marked "3 --- 2 1/2". The barrel still retains the original ramrod held by four brass pipes soldered to the bottom of the barrel. The hammer has floral engraving on both sides. The stock has a lightly engraved iron trigger guard, buttplate, toe plate and lightly engraved oval patch box. There is a nickel rectangular inlay on the left buttstock.

Rating Definition:

Fair. The barrel has been cleaned to bright showing scattered speckling with light to moderate pitting around the nipple. The stock has been lightly sanded and re-oiled. Mechanically good.
