Manufactured in 1954 in the 220 Swift caliber (approximately 20,000 were produced in this caliber), however, none were ever cataloged in featherweight configuration which makes this rifle a very rare, special order gun. Considered by collectors and shooters alike to be the finest bolt action rifle made in the U.S. Featherweight barrel with hooded ramp front sight and an adjustable folding leaf rear sight. The top of the receiver is drilled for a rear sight. High comb pistol grip stock with checkered grip area and forearm, sling swivels and fitted with a checkered aluminum buttplate. Standard markings with single Winchester proofs on the left sides of the barrel and receiver.

Near mint, with virtually all of the matte blue finish remaining and only the slightest handling marks. The stock is also near mint with only the slightest handling marks. The checkering is sharp.
