Manufactured in 1956. Hooded ramp front sight and sporting rear sight. The top of the receiver is drilled and tapped for scope mounts. Standard markings with single factory proofs on the barrel and receiver and "-SUPER GRADE-" on the hinged floor plate. Mounted on a select walnut checkered and capped pistol grip stock with cheekpiece and checkered forend with plastic tip. Has sling swivels and a vented Winchester recoil pad.

Period refinished overall. The barrel retains approximately 90% of the blue finish with the balance a smooth gray patina. The receiver has a smooth light brown patina with about 95% matte blue remaining. The trigger guard and floor plate retain about 95% dull blue mixed with a smooth brown patina. The stock is revarnished with some minor scratches, dings, and a couple of minor gashes. The checkering is crisp. Mechanically excellent.
