Manufactured in 1913 this shotgun features a single brass sight on the solid matte rib with 2 3/4" chambers, choked extra full/improved cylinder with ejectors. The top of each barrel at the breech is marked "KRUPP FLUID STEEL". The barrels, trigger guard and break lever are blue and the action is casehardened. The action, break lever and trigger guard are floral scroll engraved with game scenes on the action. Each side has a hunting dog in a field scene, the bottom has a quail and each side is engraved "ITHACA GUN CO.". There is a snipe on the trigger guard. Double gold washed trigger, automatic tang mounted safety with an extra fancy walnut checkered forearm and Fleur de Lis checkered pistol grip stock with a hard rubber grip cap and checkered Ithaca buttplate, and gold initial shield. The shotgun is accompanied by a copy of a typed letter on Cook and Uline Publishing Co. stationary dated January 28, 1996. The letter states that the shotgun was finished May 16, 1913 as a 16 gauge, Grade 4, 26 inch Krupp barrels, ejectors and shipped to "Smith Bros.". Length of pull is approximately 13 7/8".

Excellent. The barrels, trigger guard and break lever retain 99% original finish with some very minor wear on the muzzles and on the left side at the breech as well as some light scuffing on the top of the right barrel at the breech. The action retains approximately 50% original bright case colors with the balance having a smooth metal finish. The engraving is crisp and untouched. The freshened wood is excellent with only a couple of minor dings and slight handling marks. Mechanically excellent.
