Manufactured form 1908 to 1926. Serial number falls into the Flues Model production run (175000 to 399000). Krupp steel barrels choked improved cylinder/extra full, 2 3/4 inch chambers with ejectors. Single brass bead front sight on a solid rib, double gold washed triggers and tang safety. Casehardened scroll engraved action marked "ITHACA GUN CO" and engraved dogs on point on the right and left sides and a game bird on the underside. Engraved blued break lever and trigger guard with game bird scene. Serial number and "4 /16" marked on the water table. Fleur-de-lis checkered pattern pistol grip stock and forearm with ebony insert. Has a hard rubber grip cap and factory buttplate. Length of pull is approximately 13 5/8".

Excellent. The barrels retain about 90% original thinning blue with the beginnings of a brown patina and gray patina forming at the muzzles. The trigger guard retains about 30% blue mixed with a gray patina. The action retains about 60% of the case colors with extremely fine engraving. There are some moderate pressure dents on the buttstock underside, otherwise the wood is fine with some scattered minor dings and scratches. The checkering is crisp. This is the finest 4E Flues Model Ithaca this writer has seen.
