The trigger guard is black horn. The checkered pistol grip stock has a hard rubber grip cap with a safety and an oval cheekpiece on the left side with a checkered hard rubber buttplate. The toe features a hinged bullet trap that holds four rounds and is engraved in the same style as the action with a stag head in a panel surrounded by foliage. The checkered forearm is semi-Schnabeled and has an engraved forearm latch. Length of pull approximately 14 1/4". There are sling swivels attached to the barrel and buttstock with an old leather sling. A box of 8X57 ammo is included.

Rating Definition:

Very good. The barrels show 85% original blue with thinning at the muzzles and carrying point. The action has approximately 20% case color, all of it on the lower tang with a bit around the top lever. The balance is steel gray. The stock shows about 80% original finish with wear at the action panels, wrist and forearm. The toe of the stock has had a chip neatly repaired and shows light to moderate handling marks. The action is mechanically fine. The rifle barrel will not fire, needs minor adjusting.
