Manufactured between 1911 and 1946. Single bead front sight on a solid rib. Barrels marked "STERLINGWORTH FLUID COMPRESSED STEEL" on the right and "MADE BY A.H. FOX GUN CO. PHILA. PA. U.S.A." on the left. Casehardened receiver and break lever and blue barrels and trigger guard. The sides of the action are marked "STERLINGWORTH" on each side and also features a light zig-zag bordered engraving throughout the receiver and on the trigger guard. Double triggers, extractor and tang safety. Fitted with a checkered forearm and pistol grip stock with serrated hard rubber buttplate and grip cap. Included is a factory box and letter from the A. H. Fox Gun Company documenting the shipping of this shotgun to the Buffalo Wholesale Hardward Company on July 19, 1928. Length of pull is 14 inches.

Very fine. The barrels retain about 90% original blue with the beginnings of a gray patina strongest on the sides and some minor scratches. The frame and forearm hardware retain about 90% case colors with a protective coating. There is a minor crack near the lower tang, otherwise the freshened wood has some scattered mild dings and scratches. The receiver markings are weak, but legible. The box is very fine with a protect transparent wrap.
