This drilling features a front bead tipped sight and hinged rear sight on the matted rib marked "8 X 57. R." and is equipped with claw mounts for a scope. Each barrel is marked "KRUPP-LAUFSTAHL" and "J.P.SAUER & SOHN, SUHL". 16 gauge shotgun and 8X57 rifle, 2 9/16 inch chambers and extractor. There is a sling swivel mounted on the barrel. The action has profuse floral scroll engraving, double triggers, the right is a set trigger, Greener side safety, and tang mounted barrel selector. The locks are engraved with two alert deer and two mallards landing with the right lock decorated with two red stags. Both locks are also marked with "J.P. SAUER & SOHN, SUHL." Checkered forearm and checkered pistol grip stock with an engraved metal grip cap with a White Line recoil pad, cheekpiece and sling swivel. Length of pull approximately 14". Includes one box of 20 8X57JR rifle shells.

Good, as partially refinished. The barrel retains about 95% current blue with some wear at the muzzle. The action and locks have about 30% case color in protected areas, the balance a coin silver color. The wood has had an extra coat of varnish applied and shows minor handling marks. The action is mechanically good.
