Produced from 1870 to 1912, and at some point sent to England, proofed and sold via Williams & Powell of Liverpool, a firm which was bought out by Westley Richards & Company in 1910 (reportedly for 12 British Pounds). Fitted with a half-moon front sight and a casehardened hammer, the top of the barrel is marked "-COLT-/ WILLIAMS & POWELL LIVERPOOL" and a pair of crossed scepter proofs are stamped on the right side above the ejector. Niter blue trigger, the scepter proof repeated on the right side of the frame, and smooth bird's head grips. Left panel is numbered to match the gun.

Period refinished, with 98% of the nickel on the frame. The barrel has turned a mixed brown patina with some mild handling marks and spotting. Some dings and pitting are visible below the surface of the frame finish, with some more recent dings. Niter blue components are bright and the casehardened colors are vivid on the sides of the hammer. Grips are fine, with some pressure dents and minor varnish loss. Mechanically excellent.
