Manufactured from 1868 to 1882. Groove sight, with "MY FRIEND PAT'D DEC 26, 1865" on the left side of the top strap. Seven shot cylinder with nickel finish. Solid grip, with checkered backstrap and finger hole. The silver plated brass frame is scroll and punch dot engraved. The frame also acts as a set of knuckles for hand fighting. The serial number is marked on the bottom of the frame. The period replacement non-factory cylinder pin is unmarked and the rear grip screw is an oversized replacement.

Rating Definition:

Very good. The cylinder retains approximately 85% original nickel finish with some minor flaking. The brass has a smooth aged patina and some minor dings behind the hammer. Action needs work, hammer does not retract as it is locked up. The patent date is legible. The engraving is clear.
