The matching serial number is marked on the barrel between the nipples, on the left side of the frame and hammer spring under the grip and stamped on the inside of each grip panel. Rating Definition:

Good the metal surfaces have a brownish gray patina with some small areas of minor pitting on the barrels and some minor flash pitting on the nipple shield. There are traces of original finish in the protected areas of the barrel ribs and on the nipple shield in the protected area of the trigger guard. The nipples appear original and remain very good. The markings and engraving are clear and crisp for the most part. The action is very good.
