Produced in Belgium from 1954 to 1968, this pistol was manufactured in the first years of production as part of a cased set of three (1954-1957 - early records do not give an exact year, only range). Features heavily engraved vine and floral pattern with an ink and bake dark background covering 95% of each pistol. This engraving pattern continues across the sides of the frame, around the trigger guard and on the grip straps. The left side of the slide is marked with the highly desirable "St. Louis" address as follows, "BROWNING ARMS COMPANY ST. LOUIS Mo/MADE IN BELGIUM". The right side of the slide and frame are stamped with the serial numbers. Features fixed sights, a round hammer, gold washed trigger and synthetic mother of pearl grips. Complete with desirable early Browning walnut red velour lined three pistol fitted case.

As new, 99% plus original finish and similarly conditioned grips. The case is in excellent condition with wear limited to some chipping of the varnish on the left rear side corner. An excellent conditioned pistol with highly desirable features for the collector.

LOUIS, MISSOURI/MADE IN BELGIUM/(proof and makers mark)", with the serial number marked on the right side of the frame. It has a fixed front sight with a notched rear sight, with a sighting groove along the top of the slide. In addition, this pistol also has a dual function safety lever/slide lock, backstrap grip safety, gold wash trigger and synthetic pearl grips.

Near new, 99% original finish, with some moderate thinning of the gold plating on the trigger. The grips are in excellent condition, with the right grip having a slight yellow tinge as compared to the left. All else in like new condition. Case as described in "A".
