Description:

Red Cross Dagger or hewer, 10 1/2" blunt-tipped blade with serrated spine, Red Cross logo on the guard, checkered and smooth grips and nickel pommel. With a black lacquer/nickel sheath and leather frog. Looped to top of pommel is woven bullion silver and light blue sword knot ("Troddel"). The blade is marked "GES/GESCHUTZT".

Rating Definition:

Excellent condition overall, with light wear scratches from scabbard. Scabbard is tight and has 98% of the original black painted finish. Leather belt hanger and frog in very good condition but show cracking from age and use. Sword knot is very fine showing little or no wear.
