Formed after Hitler's nationalization of rail service in 1937, the Bahnschutzpolizei of the Deutsche Reichsbahn were responsible for providing security on trains and in train stations, and adopted this blade as the officer's sidearm in 1938. 9 3/4" blade, with Luneschloss makers mark. Nickel dual quillion guard, with the DR winged wheel logo on one side, ribbed black celluloid grip and round pommel with sun wheel swastika on top. Nickel finished steel sheath, with decorative tip and ribbed hanging collars.

Fine. The blade shows some light spotting, and the nickel components are darkened and bubbling. Minimal handling marks on the grip. Sheath is fine with bubbling and discoloration.
