Description:

Both blades were introduced in 1937 for use by Customs (Zoll) inspectors. 1) Land Official's Dagger, 10" WKC double edged spear point blade with silver finished eagle cross guard and oak leaf pommel, wire wrapped green leather grip, and a green leather scabbard with silver throat, tip and hangers. 2) Water Official's Dagger, as 1 with Holler blade, gold fittings and blue leather. As the water dagger was only issued to inspectors on ocean-going Zoll ships, it is scarce today

Rating Definition:

1) Very fine, with some light wear on the blade and leather, and a mixed aged patina on the silver. 2) Very good. A small chip is visible at the tip, along with some scratching and polishing marks on the blade. Leather shows some minor flaking, and dark spots are visible in the lower areas of the gold parts.
