A) Fabrique Nationale Model 1935 Nazi Proofed Pistol with Holster and Extra Magazine

Description:

Produced during the Nazi occupation of Belgium. Fixed sights and uncut backstrap, with standard slide address and Browning patent. Matching numbers, with the "eagle/ swastika" and "WaA140" proofs on the barrel, slide and frame. Serrated ring hammer with checkered walnut grips. With a brown leather flap holster and an extra magazine.

Rating Definition:

Very good, with 75% of the original blue finish, showing a gray and brown patina concentrated on the grip straps and slide, along with scattered light spotting and handling marks. Grips are good as freshened, with mild pressure dents. Holster is fair, with tearing and a replacement belt loop. Mechanically very good.

Description:

Produced between 1914 and 1936. Standard markings and fixed sights, with "GERMANY" export mark on the right side of the frame just below the slide, large "MAUSER" banner on the left side plate, niter blue safety, trigger and magazine catch and checkered wraparound grips. With a Mauser red leatherette box, containing an instruction booklet, barrel brush and extra magazine.

Rating Definition:

Excellent, with 98% of the blue finish. A number of pits and dings are visible under the surface, along with some light contemporary handling marks. Niter finished parts are bright and vivid. Grips are very good, with some mild pressure dents. Box fair, with separation and material loss along the edges. Mechanically excellent.
