Description:

Similar to the Model 1910 and 1914 and manufactured from 1934 to 1939. This pistol is marked with the large German Navy eagle with swastika over "M" on right side of the frame. The left side of the slide is marked with the serial number in a panel at the front and "MAUSER-WERKE A.G. OBERNDORF A.N." toward the rear with a small partial "Eagle N" proof directly behind the rear sight. The left side of the frame and bottom of the magazine are marked with the Mauser logo. The right side of the slide is marked "CAL. 7, 65 D.R.P.u.A.P." and the frame and slide have matching numbers. The markings (except serial number) are highlighted in white. The grips are one piece checkered walnut.

Rating Definition:

Partially refinished on the slide, with 98% of the finish remaining. There is some high edge wear on the slide and signs of some cleaning on the right rear of the frame, and on the front strap. There are several areas of light pitting on the right side of the slide and lower front area of the frame (probably from sitting in a holster) that have been touched up. The grips are excellent with some wear to the checkering on the lower left side and only a few light handling marks. All markings remain crisp and clear. The action is excellent.
