Description:

1) Cook's hanging display, oval with raised outer edge to simulate a frame, 13 7/8" wide and 17 1/2" tall, with the border painted in wood grain. 2) Advertising sign, in the form of a full color bottle of Goldblume Beer. Total dimensions are 19 3/4" tall and 7" wide, with hanging chain fixed to the top banner. Note: window reflections on bottle properly painted on, not from our photography. Founded as the Cook & Rice City Brewery and renamed in 1885 and 1933, F.W. Cook Company remained active until 1955, when management closed the plant in response to a labor strike. 3) Coors' Golden Brewery 13 3/4" long and 19" tall paper sign in a 17" x 21" frame with glass. 4) Valley Brew framed and matted paper sign. Frame measures 18 1/2" x 15", with glass front. 5) Five small newspaper advertisements for Czecher Pale, all from 1939. Frame measures 15" x 12 1/4", with glass front. 6) Good Taste Buffalo Beer 27" x 23" paper sign in a plastic frame (no glass).

Rating Definition:

1) Very good. White spots are visible at top, with mild handling marks overall. 2) Excellent, with some light wear and spotting. 3) Good. Some mild paper loss and tack holes at each corner. There are some water stains, but overall the colors are vivid and bright. 4) Very fine. Some mild wrinkles. The colors are vivid and bright. 5) Very fine. The newspaper has a typical aged appearance. The frame is drilled with two mounting holes. 6) Good. Some minor spotting, a few tears and some wrinkles. Frame paper backing has been repaired with transparent tape.
