Description:

1) 21" long artillery shell attached to a plain circle wood base. The shell casing has "U.S.A. NAVY" at the top and "U.S.A. ARMY" at the bottom, all marked horizontally . The middle section of the casing has 4 slightly twisted vertical columns marked "WORLD WAR", "APRIL 6. 1917", "JUNE 28. 1919" and "LIBERTY". Three pull string lamp bulbs are attached to the round. The round is topped with a 17" diameter green glass shade with a band of lighter green glass leaf motif. 2) 19" long artillery shell attached to an ornate circle metal base. The brass shell casing has a floral design on a punch dot background and is marked "1919"/ M/ star" with the initials "O.E.S". Three light sockets with pull strings and 4-sided cream colored shades are attached to the projectile.

Rating Definition:

1) Very fine. The shell has an even, pleasant-aged patina. The base has a few scattered minor scratches and dings and a chip at the bottom. The shade is complete. 2) Very good. The pewter colored round has some spotting and the brass has a smooth aged patina. The base and lamps have some minor spotting and some minor flaking. Two shades are missing one of the three mounting screws.
