Manufactured in 1937. Features an orange high visibility bead front sight on a Simmons serrated vent matte rib with a custom extra fancy grade satin finish uncheckered American walnut pistol grip stock with a checkered bare pistol grip bottom and a Pachmayr solid rubber recoil pad. Chambered for 3 inch shells choked modified. The right side of the barrel is marked with the standard two-line address/patent date information, with the left side being marked with the standard Winchester trade mark, gauge, and model designation. The receiver is moderately floral border scroll engraved with a raised gold inlaid eagle on both sides surrounded by scroll work and outlined with a gold wire border. Length of pull is approximately 14 1/8 inches.

Refinished, the barrel at some point previous to the current oxidation (most likely at the time of the Simmons vent rib installation). with approximately 95% finish remaining. There is some overall scattered moderate to heavy surface oxidation/spotting on the otherwise bright blued metal surfaces (mainly concentrated at the muzzle and breech end of the barrel, in addition to the left forward side of the receiver and near the takedown of the frame). The raised gold inlaid eagle is in excellent condition, but appears to have been superposed overtop of a previously stricken out engraving. The barrel has been reblued at some point previous to the current oxidation (more than likely at the time of the Simmons vent rib installation). The walnut stock is in excellent condition, with only the slightest of handling marks. Mechanically excellent, with clear markings.
