Manufactured in 1961. Standard markings with a double stamped Winchester receiver proof, single bead sight, choked full, plain pistol grip stock with solid Pachmayr White Line recoil pad and 18 groove forearm. Included is a Winchester Model 12 slide action shotgun barrel and custom hardwood takedown case. The barrel measures 27 3/4" long and has a single bead sight, magazine tube and 18 groove forearm. The barrel has standard markings with the "MOD. 1912" marking and a double stamped Winchester proof. The case has compartments lined with red felt and has a detached James Purdey & Sons leather interior label. The case has brass corner protectors, leather straps and handle and a brass initial disk marked "A / JFM / G". Length of pull is approximately 13 1/2 inches.

Refinished. The shotgun retains approximately 98% blue finish with some light spotting mostly on the barrel and some minor scratches. There is a large chip at the toe and a repaired wrist, otherwise the refinished wood is very good with some minor dings and scratches and a hairline crack on the forearm. The safety is missing. The extra barrel retains about 20% original blue with the balance a brown patina and minor spotting. The forearm is fine with some minor dings and scratches. The case is very fine with some minor handling marks. The leather is supple. The lock mechanism is missing a screw. The lining shows some scattered minor wear.
