Manufactured in 1931. The pistol has the high polish commercial blue finish, checkered walnut grips and two tone, ten round magazine. The barrel is blued with a polished chamber. The slide is fitted with adjustable target rear sight and half moon front sight, checkered trigger, slide/thumb safety, hammer spur and arched mainspring housing. The right side of the frame is marked with the serial number and an assembly number "20" on the trigger guard bow. The opposite side of the frame has the "VP/Triangle" proof on the left trigger guard bow. The right side of the slide is marked: "COLT" followed by "ACE" enclosed in a diamond and ".22 LONG/RIFLE". The left side of the slide is marked with the two line Colt Hartford address and 1897-1913 patent dates and the Rampant Colt. The magazine base is marked: "COLT" / "Ace" enclosed in a diamond / 22 L.R.". Complete in a maroon Colt box with papers.

Excellent plus with approximately 99% of the original finish remaining, thinning on the high edges near the muzzle. The two tone magazine is excellent. The box is good, edge wear at the corners and the hinge edge is beginning to separate. The rear two corners have split and the interior of the box has wear from the hammer and front sight. All printed information on the inner lid is clear and complete. The end label is good, lightly soiled and a tiny bit of the corner missing. It is firmly attached and all information is clear.
