Produced in 1926 with a high gloss blue finish, rounded front blade and standard fixed rear sights. The slide is marked with Colt's standard two line address and patent information on the left side with the right marked "COLT" in large type and "AUTOMATIC / CALIBRE .45" to the right with the "Rampant Colt" following. The right side of the frame is marked "GOVERNMENT MODEL" with the serial number directly below. The slide is serrated and the hammer spur, slide release lever, trigger and safety lever are all checkered. Arched mainspring, long grip safety and finger grove on the frame with a lanyard loop on the butt. Includes one blue finished magazine.

Excellent. The pistol retains approximately 99% of the original blue finish with some high edge wear, very few light minor scratches and some minor fading at the arch of the trigger guard. All markings are crisp and clear with the number "6" in the serial number struck somewhat lightly. The grips are excellent with some few light handling marks. Mechanically excellent.
