Blade front and adjustable rear sights, with "COLT ACE .22/ LONG/ RIFLE" on the right side of the slide, two-line address and patent marks with Rampant Colt on the left. Checkered trigger, hammer, slide catch, thumb safety, magazine release and arched mainspring housing. Checkered grips, with two-tone magazine.

Excellent, with 95% plus of the original blue finish, showing bright along the high edges, the start of a brown patina on top of the slide, mixed brown and gray on the front strap, and scattered light handling marks overall. Grips are fine, with some minor pressure dents and scattered flattening of the checkering. Mechanically excellent.
