The Model 12 was Winchester's first slide action hammerless shotgun. Produced from 1935 to 1963, this shotgun was manufactured in 1955. Features a single nickel bead front sight on a plain barrel with an uncheckered American walnut pistol grip stock and grooved slide handle with a red Winchester solid rubber recoil pad. The left side of the barrel is marked with the standard trade mark, gauge and model designation. Chambered for "SUPER SPEED & SUPER-X" 3 inch shells choked full. Length of pull is approximately 13 5/8 inches.

Refurbished to near new, with 99% plus finish. The freshened stock and slide handle are very good plus with a few scattered minor pressure dents and scratches, in addition to two very slight hairline cracks on the wrist of approximately 1 inch (one on each side). The bore is excellent and the markings are clear.

Manufactured from 1950 to 1954. This was a short-lived attempt by Winchester to make a cheaper version of the very popular Model 12 shotgun, but was not well received with only about 88,000 sold before it was dropped from the production line. Features a nickel bead front sight on a plain barrel with an uncheckered American walnut pistol grip stock and 14 groove flat bottom slide handle with a Winchester black checkered hard rubber buttplate. Chambered for 2 3/4 inch shells choked full. The left side of the barrel is marked with the standard Winchester two line address, trade mark, gauge, and model. Due to their cheaper cost, the Model 25 often saw rougher conditions and handling, and as a result are harder to find in better grades of condition. Length of pull is approximately 14 inches.

Excellent, 97% original finish. There is some minor to moderate thinning on the working surfaces of the magazine tube and a few moderate scratches on the top of the barrel. The stock and slide are also in excellent condition with a few minor handling marks. There is an approximate 1/2 inch crack in the hard rubber buttplate radiating from the front screw head. The bore is excellent and the markings are clear. A truly hard find in such good condition.
