Manufactured from 1931 to 1959, the Model 21 was Winchester's finest effort with regard to quality, reliability and strength. Despite being offered as a production gun, it was in fact a hand built, custom made shotgun. Features dual ivory beaded sights on a solid rib matte barrel with a select grade checkered semi-gloss American walnut pistol grip stock and beavertail forearm, single selective trigger, simulated ivory checkered grip cap with fleur-de-lis and Pachmayr ventilated rubber recoil pad. Chambered for 2 3/4 inch shells choked modified/improved cylinder with automatic ejectors. The left rear of the barrel is marked "WINCHESTER - 20 GAUGE" over the chamber markings, with the model designation marked on the water table. Length of pull approximately 13". Complete with factory letter.

Excellent as modified and (chokes possibly opened up), with approximately 97-98% original finish. There is some minor edge wear and light thinning on the barrel breeches, with the majority being confined to the underside of the action, along with a few light scratches. The shortened stock and forearm are in otherwise excellent condition with a non-factory recoil pad and pistol grip cap and only slight handling marks. The markings are crisp and the bores are mirror bright.
