Manufactured from 1921 to 1948, this shotgun features a single brass bead sight on the solid matte rib, 3" chambers, choked full/extra full with extractor. The top of the right barrel is marked "LEFEVER NITRO SPECIAL" and the left "LEFEVER ARMS CO. ITHACA, N.Y.". The barrels and trigger guard are blue and the action and break lever are casehardened. The sides of the action are engraved with a duck in flight in a marsh scene. The shotgun has double triggers, automatic tang mounted safety and is mounted with a checkered splinter forearm and pistol grip stock with a smooth hard rubber grip cap and serrated buttplate. Length of pull approximately 13 7/8".

Excellent. The barrels and trigger guard retain approximately 95% of the original finish with a small area near the muzzle that has been cleaned and there are a few minor dings along the rib and on the barrel. The action retains approximately 95% of the original bright case colors with some light fading. The break lever retains 98% original bright case colors. The wood is excellent with a few minor dings, a minor scratch in the checkering on the left side of the wrist and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
