Single bead sight on a solid matte rib, krupp steel barrels double triggers and tang safety. Choked full/full, 2 3/4 inch chambers with extractor. The right barrel is marked "VON LENGERKE & DETMOLD, NEW YORK" and "THE "KNOCK ABOUT" GUN" on the left barrel. Casehardened action marked "VON LENGERKE & DETMOLD / U.S. AGENTS, NEW-YORK" on the left side plate and "J.P. SAUER & SON, / MAKER & PATENTEE." on the right side plate. Very light fine scroll engraving on the side plates. Checkered forearm and round knob pistol grip stock (missing the buttplate). Length of pull is approximately 13 1/4".

Good. The barrels have been cleaned bright and with minor spotting. The trigger guard has a mixed brown patina. The frame retains some traces of faded case colors and some strong amounts of bright colors on the water table and under the break lever. The forearm hardware retains strong amounts of case colors in the protected areas. A sliver is missing from the forearm, otherwise the wood is fine with some minor dings and scratches and a few minor gouges. The checkering is crisp.
