Barrels are 30 inches with 2 3/4 inch chambers, choked full/modified, double ivory bead on a concave solid matte rib. Equipped with double triggers, automatic ejectors and a tang mounted automatic safety. Barrels are marked "STERLINGWORTH FLUID COMPRESSED STEEL" on top of the right barrel and "MADE BY SAVAGE ARMS CORP. UTICA. N.Y.U.S.A." on the left. The casehardened action is marked "FOX STERLINGWORTH" on both sides of the frame with a simple zigzag pattern engraved around the edge. Mounted with a checkered forearm and pistol grip stock with a soft ribbed Pachmayr white line recoil pad. 13 inch length of pull, drop at comb 1 5/8" drop at heel 2 5/8"

Excellent. The barrels retain approximately 90% of the blue refinish with minor scratches running the bottom length of the left barrel with small areas of gray on the side towards the breech end. Some pitting also exists on the left barrel on the muzzle end. Of the two original beads only the muzzle bead remains while the center bead is missing. 70% of the vivid case colors remain on the action with the bottom portion aged to a smooth gray with some trace colors still visible. The trigger guard retains most of its blue finish and all engravings are crisp. The refinished wood is excellent with some minor handling marks overall, the checkered stock is clean and clear with slight wear on the bottom right of the pistol grip. The checkered forearm is also clean with similar wear on the bottom left. Mechanically excellent.
