Circa 1866. Fixed blade front sight on a octagon barrel marked "SYST. LEFAUCHEUX" (double stamped) on the top flat. Has a loading gate that swivels backwards and an ejector rod on the right side. Fitted with a one piece checkered grip.

Excellent. The revolver retains approximately 90% bright original high polish blue with the beginnings of a brown patina strongest on the cylinder and some scattered mild pitting. There is smooth gray patina on the grip straps, trigger guard, recoil shield and loading gate. The grips are also excellent with some mild dings and scratches. The checkering is crisp.
