Description:

32 inch curved blade with wide single fuller. There are no visible markings on the ricasso or spine. Brass D-guard and helmet style pommel, with a twisted wire wrapped leather grip and "54" rack number stamped into the lower right side of the guard. The saber has the original iron scabbard.

Rating Definition:

Good. The blade is bright with spots of acid etching and scattered pitting. The brass hilt is very good, with a mixed aged patina. The grip has about 30% of the original leather cover and all of the twisted brass wire wrap. The leather is fair. The scabbard is good, with a mixed brown and gray patina and scattered spotting.
