Manufactured in 1899. The barrels are marked on the rib "PARKER BROS. MAKERS, MERIDEN CONN. TITANIC STEEL" and have a silver bead front sight with the weight of 4/5 stamped on the bottom. The size # 2 frame features standard BH floral scroll engraving with two pointers on the left, two setters on the right and three running elk on the bottom with a stag elk on the trigger guard bow surrounded by floral scroll. The highly figured pistol grip stock features a gold grip cap and a skeleton buttplate with the butt end checkered and an ivory crescent moon and star inlet into the top of the comb just ahead of the buttplate. The finely checkered grip features a fancy border and checkered action panels with Fleur-de-Lis drop points. The checkered forearm has the standard engraved steel forend tip and latch lever with the one line patent. The second set of barrels are 28 inches long and are marked "PARKER BROS. MAKERS, MERIDEN CONN. VULCAN STEEL" and weigh 4/3 with Imp Mod./Mod. choke. The checkered extra forearm has the standard steel forend tip and forearm latch with Vulcan grade engraving, the tip lacking any engraving at all. Both sets of barrels, frame and both forearms match. Length of pull approximately 14".

Fine. The barrels show almost all their refinished blue. The frame and all the steel hardware has been lightly cleaned and show no case colors except under the top lever, all surfaces a bright silver. The stock retains nearly all it's original finish and the checkering on the grip is still fairly sharp. The second set of barrels and forearm show 98% original blue with a little muzzle wear with the forearm hardware cleaned and showing bright silver with the wood showing 98% original finish. Mechanically excellent with both sets of barrels having bright bores.
