Manufactured in 1953. Single bead sight on a matte solid rib, 2 3/4" chambers, choked full/improved cylinder, ejectors, single trigger with barrel selector, and tang safety. The left side of the top barrel is marked "ABERCROMBIE & FITCH CO. NEW YORK / MADE IN ITALY" and "U.S. AGENTS" on the right. Bright side lock action features the Beretta address on the underside and a fine scroll and border engraving. The engraving is also featured on the blue forearm hardware, trigger guard and break lever with pigeon inlay. Mounted on a checkered finger groove forearm and pistol grip stock with grip cap, plastic serrated factory buttplate and an initial buttstock plate marked "CAH". In an Abercrombie & Fitch leather bound take down case with leather corner protectors and lined in plum colored felt. Included is an oiler, a pair of nickel snap caps and two piece cleaning rod. Length of pull is approximately 14 7/8".

Excellent. The barrels retain approximately 95% original blue finish with the beginnings of a gray patina. There is a minor scratch on the lower tang. The frame has some scattered minor discoloration. The wood is excellent with some minor dings and scratches. There are some minor nicks in the otherwise crisp checkering. The case is very fine with some scattered dark spotting on the leather and some minor handling marks. The lining shows some mild wear.
