Rating Definition:

Good, with a smooth plum brown patina overall, gray on the frame and some high edge wear. Good grips, with over half of the original finish. Mechanically good.

Rating Definition:

Fair. The pistol shows an overall brown patina with moderate pitting around the nipples. The grips show about 50% original finish. Mechanically good.

Made from the late 1840's to the Civil War. Marked "ALLEN THURBER." , "WORCESTER", and "CAST STEEL" on the barrel. Silver cone front and "V" notch rear sights.

Rating Definition:

Partially refinished, showing a silver gray with light speckling and pitting. Moderate handling marks on the barrel. Grips are revarnished. Action is fine.
