Smooth pistol grip stock with the "SA/ GAW" and Ordnance stamps on the left side ahead of the wrist, circled "P" on the wrist, checkered trapdoor butt and cleaning gear.

Rating Definition:

Excellent, with 95% of the original parkerized finish. The gas tube shows a near black color with sub-surface pitting, dull gray on the locking lug, and the remainder is green parkerized, with mild handling marks. Stock is very fine, with faint but legible proper "SA/ GAW" boxed cartouche, dings and scratches. Mechanically excellent. Original World War II M1 Garand are seldom encountered like this example which is truly original!
