Description:

Produced in May of 1943. Blade front and peep rear sights with "DRC" windage drum. Standard receiver heel markings, with "3-65" dated Springfield barrel with Defense proof, Springfield trigger housing, hammer, safety and operating rod, which is marked "M" on top. Smooth straight grip stock with green canvas sling and a checkered buttplate.

Rating Definition:

Arsenal refurbished, with 98% of the dark gray/black parkerized color, showing some light handling marks and edge wear overall. The gas tube and lug show a gray patina, with a dark green on the barrel and bolt and a deep plum on the receiver. Stock is fine, with some scratches on the underside of the forearm from the sling hardware, and scattered scratches and pressure dents overall. Mechanically excellent.
