Manufactured from 1909 to 1923. The rib is marked with the standard two line Springfield address/patent dates (1901 and 1909) marking and the caliber marking on the left side. The S&W trademark is on the right side of the frame. Equipped with a blade front sight and adjustable notch rear sight built into the barrel latch. Blue with casehardened hammer and trigger.

Excellent, with approximately 95-97% of the original finish with some small patches of pin point pitting mostly on the barrel and some scattered pin point pitting. Overall there are some minor scratches. The hammer and trigger retain heavy amounts of vivid and bright case colors. The grips are excellent with some mild handling marks. The checkering is sharp. The markings are clear and crisp. Mechanically excellent.
