Manufactured in 1957, the second year of production for second generation revolvers. The top of the barrel is marked with the one line Hartford address with "COLT SINGLE ACTION ARMY .45" on the left side and marked with the two line patent date marking with the Rampant Colt on the frame. Blue with casehardened frame and fitted with smooth replacement walnut grips. In a Colt black box numbered to gun ("wood" is also noted on bottom).

Partially refinished (rear grip strap) with balance of metal, showing 95% of the original blue finish with very minimal wear high edge wear and thinning on the backstrap. There is limited discolored pin point pitting on the barrel. The frame retains about 99% of the vivid and bright case colors beginning to show some bright wear along the edges. There is a noticeable cylinder drag line. The grips are undersized replacements with some minor scratches and a few very light dings. The box is in fair condition with the lid detached and missing a side.
