Blade and notch sights, with the one line Hartford address on top of the barrel, scroll engraving on the right side, gold accent on the ejector housing and a gold eagle with shield clutching a banner marked "JOHN WAYNE". The cylinder has gold rope designs on each end, with a gold accented scene of Wayne on horseback on one side and a portrait shot backed by the American flag on the reverse. Light scroll engraving on the frame, with the backstrap signed in gold with the Red River brand near the hammer. Fitted with a set of smooth two piece ivory grips. According to the included factory letter, this revolver was produced in 1982 as part of the John Wayne Commemorative series, and retained by the factory. All features are confirmed by this letter.

Excellent, 99% original blue, with a few minor scratches and handling marks overall. Grips are excellent, with an attractive grain.
