Pinched brass front sight on octagon barrel with double gold inlayed band at the muzzle. The breech end of the barrel near the flash pan is also double band inlayed and also feature three elongated "V"s. The upper tang is inlayed "1". The lock plate has a casehardened finish and the hammer and furniture are done in a fire blue. The stock is walnut, checkered at the grip with casehardened escutcheon around the screw on the left side. Blued steel grip cap with an unidentified letter inscription. The butt of the wood is carved into a nice border. Accompanying the case set is a full compliment of accessories which include a hammer, screw driver, powder flask, bullet mold, linen cutter, grease tin, cleaning rod and key. The French fitted walnut case is lined with green velvet.

Fine as custom made. The barrel shows silver plating thinning through on high points and edges exhibiting some overall surface scratches and handling marks. The lock plate and furniture show flashes of vibrant fire blue mixed with dull case colors and a patch of mixed gray patina. The wood is very good plus with only a few scattered pressure marks. All accessories rate good to very good. The lid of the case is warped and does not fully close.
