Manufactured from 1918 to 1934, this pistol has the markings and features of the earlier models. Features a blade front and square notch fixed rear sights on a serrated sighting plane with grip and thumb safeties, 9 groove slide serrations, 7-shot magazine, and two-piece black checkered hard rubber grips with "REMINGTON / UMC / TRADE MARK" logo embossed at the top within a circle. The top of the slide is marked with the early style two-line address/patent date information. The right side of the slide is marked, "Remington / TRADE MARK", with a partially stamped anchor on the top front of the trigger guard, and the left side of the frame being stamped with the serial number.

Excellent, with approximately 97% plus original finish. There is some minor edge wear, handling marks, and a few small areas of pitting beginning on the left side of the slide. The grips are in excellent condition with a few minor handling marks. Mechanically excellent, with clear markings.

The top of the slide is marked with the two-line address/patent date information. The right side of the slide is marked, "Remington / TRADE MARK", with an anchor stamped on the top front of the trigger guard. The left side of the frame is stamped with the serial number, and "XR" on the left front of the trigger guard.

Excellent as with approximately 98% professionally restored finish. There is some slight thinning on the edges of the backstrap and heel. There are also two minor nicks on the toe of the front strap, along with a minor spot of oxidation on the right side of the frame below the ejector port. The grips are also in excellent condition with a few minor handling marks. Mechanically excellent, with clear markings.
