Standard two line left barrel flat address/patent dates marking and three line model designation/trademark marking on upper tang. Smooth forearm with metal cap and straight grip stock with a crescent buttplate.

Rating Definition:

Fine. The barrel and magazine retain traces of the original blue finish with the balance a smooth brown patina. The rest of the metal surfaces have a balance between smooth gray and smooth dark patina. The buttplate has some minor pitting. The left side of the receiver has additional tap screws, possibly for a Lyman 59 sight, which is now absent. The sanded and revarnished wood has a hairline crack on the wrist near the frame, otherwise there are some minor handling marks. The markings are clear and crisp.
