Rating Definition:

Arsenal refinished/reworked overall with 95% of an dull dip blue with wear on the front edges of the frame rails, muzzle are, edges and high spots. The grips are in very good condition with nice checkering showing only minor handling marks in a few places. The pistol appears to have been field repaired as the barrel, is a field replacement that was numbered to match and was proofed with an "Eagle 655" Waffenamt. The side plate and grips screws are also from a WWI pistol, with the side plate being proofed with a "Crown /J" proof that was also renumbered to match. The magazine is a correct late type III version that was also numbered to match without the letter suffix.
