This DWM Luger is from the collection of famous cowboy star Roy Rogers and most recently was displayed in the Roy Rogers - Dale Evans Museum in Branson, Missouri. The pistol is accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity certifying that the "Luger - German - Monogram on the top was personally owned and used by cowboy star, Roy Rogers and has been on display inside The Roy Rogers - Dale Evans Museum". The certificate is dated February 25, 2009 and signed by Roy Rogers Jr. This is a standard 1920 DWM commercial rework Luger with an unmarked chamber, the DWM monogram on the toggle, commercial "crown / N" proof on the left side of the barrel extension and on the underside of the barrel, import marked "GERMANY" on the left frame rail and marked "GESICHERT" and "GELADEN" on the safety and ejector respectively. Straw colored small components, backstrap cut for a stock, checkered walnut grips and nickel magazine with unmarked wooden base.

Excellent. The pistol retains approximately 97% original blue finish with wear limited to the muzzle and left side plate. Approximately 80% of the straw colors remain with some fading on the safety lever. The grips are excellent with light wear, scattered minor dings and handling marks. The markings are clear. Mechanically excellent.
