Description:

Approximately 13,000 of these pistol were manufactured. The left side of the frame is marked "<Pist.a aut.a mod. 1913-16> / 2873" and the top of the slide is marked "CAMPO-GIRO / PAT. 34798-54214 / 1904-1913 / a five pointed star inside a wreath / ESPERANZA / Y / UNCETA / GUERNICA". The star and wreath logo is also stamped on the left side of the magazine. The pistol is finished blue with a straw colored hammer and safety lever. Fitted with two piece black checkered grips with a molded "crown / Campo-Giro" at the tops and the star and wreath logo and intertwined "EYU" logo below that. The lanyard loop at the base of the backstrap is present.

Rating Definition:

Very fine, retaining approximately 95% original blue finish overall turning a dull blue on all the surfaces, with wear on the edges and high spots with more wear on the sides of the muzzle. The grips are good overall, with a 2 inch long crack through the left panel, a couple large chips near the butt on the right panel, with a few minor chips along the edges. The markings are clear.
