This model is one of the rare "Luxembourg" Contract rifles produced in 30-06 caliber. The top of the receiver is marked with "AL" for "Armee Luxembourg" and the Belgium acceptance proofs. The right side is marked with a two flaming ordnance bombs and the numbers "2" and "3" followed by "FABRIQUE NATIONALE D'ARMES_HERSTAL BELGIQUE". It has a military style tangent rear sight graduated to1000 meters, ten shot box magazine and walnut stock and handguard. Has a leather sling and bayonet with scabbard. Bayonet is marked "A3C / 35918" on the grip and scabbard is marked "50600" on the throat.

Very good. The rifle retains approximately 85% original black paint with some minor flaking and wear on the edges, high spots, the barrel bands, box magazine and buttplate. Stock and handguards are very good overall showing minor dings, dents and scratches. The sling is very good with some minor age cracking. The bayonet is fine. The blade retains about 98% parkerized finish and the grip has a minor dent. The sheath retains about 90% black plaint with some minor flaking and numerous minor scratches.
