The left side of the barrel also has the "eagle/ 359" proof. Correct wartime ribbed red/ brown grips with magazine marked "P.38" on the left side and "Eagle/ 359" on the spine.

Very good overall with 90% of the WWII blued finish with wear and thinning on the edges and high spots and down the front grip strap. The grips are in very good condition showing minor wear and handling marks. It has a matching slide, frame and barrel.
