Description:

This is an U.S. Government Printing Office/New Jersey State Police, Trenton, NJ, reward poster issued during the investigation into the abduction of Charles Lindbergh, Jr., son of the famous aviator Charles Lindbergh. Printed at the top, "$25,000 REWARD! / FOR INFORMATION RESULTING IN THE APPREHENSION AND CONVICTION OF THE KIDNAPERS / OF CHARLES A. LINDBERGH, JR. / The following is a list of the currency paid as ransom. The list is arranged according to the LAST FOUR DIGITS / of the serial number." with "(NOT to Be Made Public)" in the upper left corner. The bulk of the poster lists the currency serial numbers, grouped in dominations ($5, $10 and $20). It was serial number A7397 6634A that was traced to convicted kidnapper/murder Bruno Richard Hauptmann. Framed (24 1/2" x 34 1/2") and matted.

Rating Definition:

Very good. Has a typical aged appearance with fold lines. Some minor stains, but overall the print remains clear. Frame has some minor handling marks.
