Description:

1) Stearnes Steel Range Company (Chicago) urn, 27 1/2" tall on a set of 4 legs, with silver finished brass construction, lid with knob handle, ceramic inner vessel, and three spigots, two with glass gauges. 2) Unmarked coffee urn, 19" tall, silver finished with "T" shaped lid handle, a pair of side handles, glass gauge for the spigot and cut-through ventilated base. 3) Filed with the patent office in 1929, Thomas Topper designed an adjustable water feed system for coffee making, eliminating the need for an attendant to manually control the flow of water, allowing the operator to dial in the quantity of the coffee desired, with the machine handling the rest. Measuring 41" tall on a set of legs and roughly 18 inches wide, with external feeds for water and gas, a maintenance port for access to the heating elements, the water control valve (graduated from 1 to 6 gallons), a 15 1/2 inch tall glass gauge and a pair of spigots, also set up for gauges. The water control knob is marked as "PATENT PENDING", indicating early production

Rating Definition:

1)-2) Both are good, with some finish loss along the high edges, mild handling marks and some dings. Neither has been function tested. Some cracking of the glass of two. 3) Very good, with some dents in the body and mild handling marks. The handle for the hinge is broken and included, and the gauge is absent from the right spigot. Grounds container absent. Not function tested.
