The Model 25 was made in limited numbers from 1923 to 1936. In appearance it was like the Model 12 except for larger calibers. This rifle has "PROPERTY / STEPHENSON / COUNTY, ILL. / BANKERS FED." branded on the left side of the plain pistol grip stock. Standard factory markings, fixed dovetail front sight, adjustable rear sight, takedown receiver, steel crescent buttplate and 10 groove slide handle.

Excellent, showing about 97% original blue with gray patina forming on some of the high edges, some scattered light spotting and streaks of gray on the action bar and magazine. Three non-factory scope mount holes on the left side of receiver. Brown patina is forming on the buttplate. The excellent wood has some minor dings and scratches and some rough patches. Stock marking is clear.

Manufactured from 1907 to 1929. "PROPERTY / STEPHENSON / COUNTY, ILL. / BANKERS FED." is stamped on the left side of the plain pistol grip stock. Standard markings with a single bead front sight on a barrel marked "IMP CYL" (IMP is crossed out) on the left side and a Remington-UMC checkered buttplate. Length of pull approximately 13 1/2".

Excellent, showing 98% of the original blue finish with a smooth plum patina on the barrel, some light spotting and gray patina forming on the high edges and on the action bar. The excellent wood has some minor dings and scratches mostly on the buttstock and some rough patches. There is a large chip on the buttplate. Stock marking is clear.
